Double glazed windows and doors are standard for all Hortons Log Cabins of wall thickness 35mm and above. 28mm Log cabins come with single glazing as standard ( Upgrade is available). We fit your glass for free before delivery, unlike some of our competitors. Hortons cabin doors come with special security hinges which are also adjustable. It is not possible to unscrew our log cabin doors from their frame to gain access - we use special security hinges which are also fully adjustable. We can add extra doors and windows to any Hortons Log Cabin, call us for details & quotes. Minimum purlin size for Hortons log cabins is 70x140mm and no greater than 600mm apart for a very strong roof

Wide range of log wall log thicknesses for different uses
- Single skin options are 28mm, 35mm, 45mm 60mm, 70mm and 90mm. The 28mm basic version is single glazed and all other cabins are double glazed as standard.
- All of the above have options for roof and floor insulation kits to allow a much wider range of activities. These can be used year round as long as you have a reasonably good heater to keep them warm through the winter months. Obviously the thicker the wall logs, the warmer it will be.
- Twin Skin walls - these are the truly all year round cabins. Not only do we offer various log thicknesses but also cavity widths as well. The starting cavity is 50mm, then we offer the 45mm logs cabin and thicker with a 110m wide cavity which complies with modern building regulations should you wish to use this garden room as an annexe. We do also offer a 90mm wall cavity as well which is suitable for school classrooms and other buildings that are permanently heated which aren't for habitable use.
