7m x 3m pent roof garden cabin with 2 rooms. Tall rear wall for extra internal headroom Price From: £4,797.35
7m x 3m pent garden cabin
The single slope roof design of this 7m x 3m pent garden cabin gives maximum internal headroom. It measures 2.5m at the front, so within the planning rules. But crucially it measures 2.3m at the rear, and therefore gives a really good head height clearance throughout the whole cabin. So regardless of where you are standing, even against the rear wall lower wall, you won't feel like you need to crouch down in fear of your head hitting the roof.

Ascot 7m x 3m Pent Roof Benefits: What benefits does it offer? What is it?
A pent, or mono pitch, roof is simply a roof that only slants in a single direction. It has a single surface of the sloping roof. The construction process of a mono pitch "pent" roof is not always as simple as you may have first thought, considering the shape!
There are two ways to construct a pent garden cabin roof.
The Rafter method
The rafter can be identified as the sloping part of this roof design. So the rafters run parallel to the slope of the roof. This is the easiest and most common method. Which is used in the Ascot 7m x 3m pent garden room.
The purlin method
Purlins run perpendicular to the slope of the roof. This method is used where the rafter span would exceed the length of a standard piece of timber. We have the ability to add extra structural archways should the overall span required for a purlin is too long as well. Thus breaking this span up into smaller lengths to make it much more practical.
Advantages of the 7x3m pent roof garden cabin
The overriding benefit is that you get maximum head height acrss the whole garden building. An apex roof normally has plenty of headroom in the middle of the room. But more often than not with a garden building that is generally governed by the 2.5m maximum height planning rule, the lower eaves walls are very low. Sometimes not even tall enough to stand fully upright.
As long as you use the correct roofing material, EPDM rubber roofing, the roof can be almost flat with just the smallest of falls to direct the rain water to where you want it to go. Therefore, if the high side of the roof is at 2.5m, the lower side can be 2.3m with no issues at all, thereby giving lots more room inside - an apex roof will commonly be no more than 2.1m and quite often less than 2m. "m overall building height only gives about 1.8m internally or less if it is an insualted roof which eats into the clear height as well.
The Illusion of Space
The installation of a pent roof garden building will give you the sense of a larger internal space. The Ascot 7m x 3m pent roof log cabin seems bigger than our 3m x 7m Worthing apex roof garden cabin. This is because the lower parts of the roof is that much taller. The internal volume is larger. So if you want to make a small space look spacious, then a mono-pitched pent roof is certainly the way forward.
