We make all Hortons log cabins from slow grown spruce timber. Double glazed windows and doors are standard for all Hortons Log Cabins of wall thickness 35mm and above. 28mm Log cabins come with single glazing as standard ( Upgrade is available). We fit your glass for free before delivery, unlike some of our competitors. Hortons cabin doors come with special security hinges which are also adjustable. It is not possible to unscrew our log cabin doors from their frame to gain access - we use special security hinges which are also fully adjustable. We can add extra doors and windows to any Hortons Log Cabin, call us for details & quotes. Minimum purlin size for Hortons log cabins is 70x140mm and no greater than 600mm apart for a very strong roof

Easibuild Timber Framed Garden Rooms

Another model based on our unique "Easibuild" garden summerhouse so that it is not just easy to build but also easy to get it in to your back garden - the parts are even small enough to take through a standard house door with room to spare!
The walls are made using a stacking system where each wall is at least 2 panels high and can be a number of panels long (but crucially still stronger than a standard framed building, in a similar way to staggered brickwork joints - all joins are staggered from the previous course to give added strength if more than 1 panel long). There also extra vertical timber strengtheners (going from the very top to the very bottom of each wall if more than 3m long) which slot into pre-manufactured channels within the wall panels to tie it all together very quickly and easily during the build, thus making it probably the stongest garden room construction you will ever find. The floor and roof are also panelised for ease of consttruction - this timber building is ideal for DIY installation.
We have our own dedicated factorywhich means that we can not only make any size or design you choose, but we can also offer factory painting using high quality Remmers Aidol treatment meaning that once you have built it, it's done and fully weather-proofed.
