Transportable Log Mobile Homes
This cabin is designed so that it is possible to "demount" in 2 halves, thus complying with the main criteria for mobile homes which says that if it is wider than 4m then it must be made to come apart in 2 halves to allow for transportation on a flat bed lorry. You can see in the plans that there are 2 walls (or log posts) underneath the ridge line - this is where the halves meet (at each end and the roof ridge), making it extremely simple should it ever need to be moved.
This cabin kit also includes our steel chassis kit in order to qualify as a mobile home meaning it is fully compliant with the "Caravan Act".
