1 bedroom log home

We have a 1 bedroom log cabin on show in our display centre near Horsham, Sussex.

We have a 1 bedroom log cabin home on show in our display centre near Horsham, Sussex. The cabin home show model does have a fitted kitchen and bathroom to show how the rooms can look once you have moved in and are actually living in it. It is based on our 140mm wall (45+45mm) twin Skin Chester log cabin. The standard Chester cabin has 2 rooms with an integral veranda area. Whereas this log cabin home has an extra partition, making 3 rooms in total.

The cabin is 5.9m x 5.9m overall, with the main entrance room being approximately half of the cabin width. Including the inset veranda area, it is  2.76m wide x 4.2m deep. You can see in the video that this is easily large enough for a kitchen / diner area.  The other side of this cabin has 2 rooms, you can position the partition to suit your requirements. You can have a larger bedroom with a smaller bathroom. Shower trays are usually 800mm wide, so a 1m deep room is enough to fit everything in. This leaves the bedroom size at 2.76m wide x 4.4m deep - which can easily accommodate a double bed  and wardrobes.

1 bedroom log cabin annexe

If you have a need for extra living space at home, then this small 1 bedroom log house makes the perfect annexe for your garden. It is a self-contained apartment with everything needed for separate living.

Our annexes can give life changing self-contained independent accommodation in your garden. And at a fraction of the cost of a house extension. Not to mention far quicker and much less intrusive. It is a stand-alone building, so it won't affect the main house during the build. These are permanent garden buildings, and as such will make financial sense as well. They will add value to your property (much more than what it costs).

Guest accommodation

Garden annexes are perfect for a living space for an elderly relative. Hence why they are commonly known as "Granny Annexe or Granny Flat". Alternatively, they can provide additional living space for a growing family. Older children can have their own "apartment". Whatever use you need one of our insulated log cabins for we, can help you with a practical, affordable and stylish space. Our garden cabins come in any size, shape, design and specification.

Garden annexes can be built under "permitted development", but will typically need permission if the cabin includes sleeping accommodation. We can supply scale plans for your chosen design which are suitable for submission for planning permission.

This 1 bedroom Log Cabin is ideal for guest accommodation.

A garden cabin that is perfect for extended family, relatives, and guests to live separately. But still within easy reach of your house.

We can design and manufacture our garden annexes to suit your changing family circumstances. We can start from a standard design that we already have and modify that design o suit.
Or we can start from scratch where you tell us what rooms sizes you require. We then come up with a cabin that will fulfil those needs. Whichever route you choose, you can be sure that it will be the highest specification. And it will meet UK Building Regulations for structural strength and thermal values.
Our 200mm cavity wall Twin Skin log cabin also has thick layers of insulation in the roof and floor. All these thermal areas exceed the most recent regulations. We offer options for high quality timber or uPVC windows and doors (A rated or even higher if required). Both again meet these stringent regulation values needed for accommodation. Various base options, roofing options and factory painting options (choose any colour in the RAL or NCS colour ranges) means you have complete control over how you want it to look and fit into your garden.

Mobile Park & Holiday Homes -  1 bed or multiple bedroom designs available

Hortons can supply transportable mobile park and holiday homes. We design and construct them onto steel chassis such that they are liftable by a crane (using the in-built lifting points) onto a lorry, and then transported from site by road in one or two parts. Therefore they fully comply with requirements set out by the Caravan Act

Hortons log homes and structures use Twin Skin log cabin design to build holiday mobile log homes. They not only fit seamlessly into their outdoor surroundings but also meet the high specifications expected by our customers. We design our insulated Twinskin log cabins for comfy all year accommodation. We build our interlocking log holiday mobile homes on site, so tight or awkward access is not a problem.
