One of the all time classic log cabin designs, and still a good seller. The clockhouse has a ridge height of 3.5m means that it would need to be built more than 2m from any boundary unless planning permission was sought, but we can alter the roof pitch by request so that it comes down to 2.5m to avoid the need for planning permission.

NB - please note that Twin Skin Clockhouses have 6 windows and not 8 as there is not enough width to fit 4 windows across the front wall as well as the double doors and the thicker twinskin walls. However, we can modify it such that 2 double windows can be fitted into the front wall (at extra cost) as shown in this video -

We make all Hortons log cabins from slow grown spruce timber. Double glazed windows and doors are standard for all Hortons Log Cabins of wall thickness 35mm and above. 28mm Log cabins come with single glazing as standard ( Upgrade is available). We fit your glass for free before delivery, unlike some of our competitors. Hortons cabin doors come with special security hinges which are also adjustable. It is not possible to unscrew our log cabin doors from their frame to gain access - we use special security hinges which are also fully adjustable. We can add extra doors and windows to any Hortons Log Cabin, call us for details & quotes. Minimum purlin size for Hortons log cabins is 70x140mm and no greater than 600mm apart for a very strong roof

The Aspen Clockhouse is a long standing favourite, it is very distinctive with the amount of glazing and the clocktower. It actually seems much bigger than it really is because it is so light inside and the roof area is totally open, ideal for a painting studio.
