Installation service for log cabins and timber buildings

Strong wooden garden gazebos

We can supply any size or shape of wooden gazebo, we can also provide balustrading and/or wall panels for any or all of the sides which in turn can have windows and doors in them (making a full post and beam garden structure or even a garage). The main frame is made using really heavy duty  timbers (from 120 x 120mm up to 120 x 180mm depending on the spans involved) which are very strong. This is no ordinary garden pergola type of structure - it is a truly permanent building.

The table below sets out the more standard sizes (which have a hipped roof as standard), but you can choose any other size that you require-

Do you want a nice elegant open sided structure for your garden? This is the perfect product - you could have it as a lovely seating area with table and chairs underneath to enjoy the summer afternoons, set up a barbecue area or even a hot tub.

There are a number of different words used for this type of timber structure-

  • Arbor - this is an open skeletal structure, usually has climbing plants growing up it.
  • Gazebo - this is a open sided structure usually under which you have garden furniture for a relaxation area, outdoor dining area or even a hot tub, sometimes having some wall panels or hal height walling between the posts to semi-enclose the area within.
  • Pergola - basically the same as a gazebo but without any wall panels at all.
  • Pergoda - this is a covered walkway, usually with an open roof structure which has plants trained up to grow all over it.
  • Outdoor timber shelter - this is a generic term that can cover all of the above descriptions.
  • Smoking shelter - this is a structure that requires at least 50 percent of the walls to be open sided with a roof structure to provide shelter in order to qualify. We can provide wall panels that fit into our gazebos such that it will comply with these restrictions but still give adequate protection from the elements, or it xcould just be left totally open sided (leaving just the structural timber posts to support the roof) and still qualify..

We have a 4x3m model on display in our large showground, so please come down to see it - it's much more substantial than the typical examples you would find in garden centres! It also has an additional rear wall panel and front balustrading to show all aspects of what is available and possible. The roofing material shown is called Onduvilla (click here for more info) which gives a "Roman tile" Mediterranean look to the structure.

These gazebos are all custom built to your required size and specification, the table above shows possible configurations and prices but because these are all made to order, other sizes are also possible.

How easy are these to build? The answer is simple - all parts are pre-cut and pre-machined to make the installation very easy. Have a look at a video of the complicated "Prestige" gazebo / carport being installed - if a complicated design is this easy, then think how easy it is to build a simple gazebo design!
