Bertsch Holzbau Floor construction

1. Pressure treated base beams of 40/60 mm for 28 mm wall thickness.
2. Impregnated base beams of 60/80 from 33mm and thicker wall thickness.
3. Various wall thicknesses ranging from 19mm to 33 mm, the floor boards are 19mm tongue and grooved incl. impregnated floor joists.
4. For wall thicknesses of 45mm and bigger, the floor boards are 22 mm tongue and grooved incl. impregnated floor joists (floor boards of 28 mm are available at an extra charge).

Wall construction

1. Log cabin constructions are a tongue and grooved windlock system. This creates a firm barrier against the elements.
2. 45mm and larger wall logs are a special profile with conical double tongue and groove for even higher stability.
3. Shaped gable and upper wall logs to the roof angle.
4. Mortice and tenon joints for post-and-beam garden buildings.
5. Prefabricated framed walls for element houses and pavilions. Meaning you just assemble the elements and thereby obtain a fast construction.
6. All components are cut for appropriate length and drilled.

Bertsch Holzbau Roof construction

1. The roof deck is 19 mm tongue and grooved boards.
2. Wall thickness of 28 mm : purlin dimensions are 60 / 140 mm.
3. Log wall thickness of 33 mm : purlin dimensions are 80 / 160 mm.
4. Wall thickness of 45 mm : purlin dimensions are 80 / 160 mm or stronger depending on the size of the building. Buildings with a minimum wall thickness of 45 mm are suitable to hold slate tiles.
5. Optional straight or wavy barge boards at the gable ends.
6. Triangular gable tilt fillets. This makes for better water drainage.

Other features

1. Possible roof shapes according to each model range are saddle roof, hipped roof, flat roof, mono- and double-pitch roof as well as pyramid.
2. Pavilion models up to a max. diameter of 4.0 m can have the roof-top elements pre-assembled. And they can be delivered pre-shingled upon request.
3. Buildings with a minimum wall thickness of 45 mm and skeleton models are strong enough to take tiles (supplied by the customer). You need to be specify this when placing the order.
