New Pressure Treated Softwood Sleepers

2. They are light to manoeuvre compared with oak or bituminised used sleepers.
3. Being softwood, they are much easier to cut than oak or used sleepers.

It is a bi-product of the de-silting work that took place at Bury Hill fishery some 15 years ago, ‘Bury Hill Black’ conforms to BS3882 ‘Premium Grade’ which is the highest grade of topsoil achievable. With virtually no stone content, ‘Bury Hill Black’ is screened through a 10mm diamond screen producing a finished material, which is easy to work even in wet conditions owing to its fine light friable texture. Dark rich in colour with a PH close to neutral, ‘Bury Hill Black’ is blended using exacting amounts of silt, sand and soil conditioner which contributes dramatically to the materials long term performance, the result being a free draining topsoil with the soil conditioner providing a slow release fertilising action which will give bumper yields of flowers, fruit and vegetables in years to come.

The Dutch Barn Playhouse looks just that little bit different to most other playhouses with it's unusual roof profile, which gives added internal space.

Like all of our playhouses. it has been safety checked and approved by the TUV Safety Testing BS EN71 European Toy Standard - you couldn't ask for a better "health-check" for the suitablity of this building. Safety hinges are included on the Dutch Barn Playhouse which means little fingers are safe from injury. The door knob provides optimum useability for small hands.
The double storey playhouse includes an angled ladder with grooved, non-slip treads to the second storey and the upstairs has a large balcony area which is big enough for a couple of sleeping bags. How exciting for a child to have their own 2 storey house in their garden which has a lounge and a bedroom!

The Double Storey Playhouse measures 7' x 5' and also has an Internal Loft and Play Area, it is a very popular playhouse and makes good use of the internal space that will keep your children amused for hours. The internal space has a second floor and the strong build means that the risk of injury isn't a problem.
This playhouse is BS EN71 certified which means it has been tested by the European Toy Standards for safety of use.
The many windows are Georgian style and are glazed with Styrene which is much safer than glass as it doesn't shatter, and is more environmentally friendly than glass.
The door has Safety hinges which prevent childrens' fingers from getting trapped and the upstairs mezzanine floor has safety railings to prevent children from falling.
The ladder leading up to the second floor has grooved treads for good grip, is angled for easy climbing and strong stable rungs for support.
Children using any raised play structures, whether it be one of our tower units or has a raised second floor, should be under adult supervision at all times.
