All of our cabins are very easy to build with the parts (roof, walls and floor) being accurately pre-cut and the doors and window assembled ready to slot into place (pre-hung and pre-glazed). Our interlocking corner joints have double rebated and lapped connections for a weather-tight finish, far superior to a chamfered corner joint.
This 4m x 3m insulated log cabin is a great fit or any garden as it's not too big but by the same token is plenty big enough for furniture etc inside for a chill out zone or man cave. This one is actually to be used as a small stand alone classroom - it is perfectly suited for this in our Twinskin design which is insulated in the roof, walls & floor with Kingspan. This not only works to keep it warm in the summer but also to keep it cool in the summer as well.

We make all Hortons log cabins from slow grown spruce timber. Double glazed windows and doors are standard for all Hortons Log Cabins of wall thickness 35mm and above. 28mm Log cabins come with single glazing as standard (
Upgrade is available). We fit your glass for free before delivery, unlike some of our competitors.
Hortons cabin doors come with special security hinges which are also adjustable. It is not possible to unscrew our log cabin doors from their frame to gain access - we use special security hinges which are also fully adjustable. We can add extra doors and windows to any Hortons Log Cabin, call us for details & quotes. Minimum purlin size for Hortons log cabins is 70x140mm and no greater than 600mm apart for a very strong roof
